Collaborating on Other People's Projects

If you have received an invitation to collaborate on a NOOK Press publisher’s Project, congratulations! You are someone who the publisher trusts and they want to hear your feedback on their Project.

To collaborate on their Project, click the link that you received in the invitation email from NOOK Press. You will be asked to sign up for a NOOK Press account (if you don’t already have one) and accept the invitation. However, if you do not want to participate, you can reject or ignore the invitation.

Once you have logged in and accepted, you will be taken to their Project:

·    Click Read and Comment to go into their Manuscript. On the left-hand side is the Quick Outline, where you can jump to different chapters. To open a chapter in the Manuscript, click on the chapter bar. Click minimise on the chapter bar to close a chapter.  Use the Comments section on the right-hand side of the screen to add or delete your comments from inside a chapter. You can read comments from the publisher or other Collaborators, and can engage in discussion with them from inside the Manuscript. You will receive a notification in NOOK Press when someone has left a comment in this Manuscript.
·    Click Preview NOOK Book to see how the Manuscript will appear as a NOOK Book.
·    Click Cover Image to see the cover image that the publisher has selected for their NOOK Book.

Click Leave this Project to be removed as a Collaborator on the Project.
